Welcome to my class page. I have lived in Ludington all my life. I went to Franklin Elementary for grades K - 6. I then went to OJ and LHS. After high school I went to school at Central Michigan University. Go Fire Up Chips! I graduate with an elementary education degree with a major in mathematics and a minor in reading. I began my teaching career in 1995 as a 6th grade teacher at Lakeview Elementary. I am currently teaching technology classes at OJ DeJonge Middle School. Along the way I also taught at South Hamlin and Foster schools. I taught 6th grade, 4th grade and 8th grade mathematics. I met my wife at CMU and we were married the same year I started teaching. My wife teaches 4th grade for Scottville schools. My family also consists of my four sons and our dog. We love to travel, especially to baseball stadiums throughout the United States. Our most recent travels took us to Phoenix, Arizona during the Christmas holiday. In addition to teaching I also coach boys and girls high school soccer.
